What's the difference between resizing and compressing an image?
Resizing changes the image's pixel dimensions (width and height), with the option to set an exact size or keep the original aspect ratio. Compressing reduces file weight by adjusting encoding quality, without necessarily touching pixel dimensions. Often it's worth combining both.
Can I remove the background from any photo, not just product shots?
Yes. The background removal tool uses an AI model that works on people, objects, products, or pets, and outputs a PNG with real transparency, ready to drop onto any new background.
Can I convert both ways — for example JPG to PNG and also PNG to JPG?
