When you need to go back to JPG

WebP wins on the web, but many workflows still require JPEG: legacy CMSs, some print shops, corporate attachments, or design apps that skip WebP with alpha. Converting WebP to JPG unlocks those destinations without heavy desktop suites.

Transparency and backgrounds

A transparent WebP logo filled with black looks wrong on a white document. Pick the color that matches the final use. If you still need alpha, switch output to PNG in the converter.

Background removal is available too, but JPG export will flatten onto the chosen color. For cutouts with transparency, download PNG or WebP.

No magic: each lossy re-encode can add artifacts. Start from a good WebP and avoid long chains (WebP→JPG→another social network). Keep the original as your master file.
