1. Who we are

This site (SMALLIMG, https://smallimg.com) is operated by the owner identified in the legal notice. Contact: info@smallimg.com.

2. Summary

Image conversion and compression run in your browser: we do not upload your files for processing and we do not use conversion cookies.
We use local storage to remember whether you accepted or rejected analytics (si_cookie_consent).
Analytics (Google Analytics 4 and/or Plausible) load only if configured in the build environment and you accepted in the cookie notice.

3. Essential cookies and technologies

Needed for basic operation or to remember your consent preference. They do not require marketing consent. Examples:

si_cookie_consent in localStorage: values accepted or rejected.
Browser cache for the optional “Remove background” model (not a tracking cookie; a technical file on your device).

4. Analytics (optional)

If you accept, visits and product events (e.g. convert, ZIP download) may be measured in aggregate. If you reject, we do not load those scripts. You can change your mind by clearing site data in your browser or contacting us.

Plausible, when used, often works without its own cookies; we still ask for consent before loading the script if enabled.

Google Analytics 4: configured (env)
Plausible: not configured

5. Advertising (AdSense)

If AdSense is configured, Google’s publisher script may load and set Google advertising or measurement cookies. There are no visible ad units until they exist. We may later gate ads behind consent (CMP); site verification may require the script in the head.

6. Managing your choice

When you visit you will see a notice with “Accept” or “Reject analytics”. The conversion tool remains available either way. More detail in the privacy policy and legal notice.
